Technology Innovation Institute Appoints First Chief Innovation Officer

 

Technology Innovation Institute (TII), a leading global scientific research center and the applied research pillar of Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), has appointed Dr. Chaouki Kasmi as its first Chief Innovation Officer. In his new role, Dr. Kasmi will oversee the development and implementation of TII’s research and innovation strategies, ensuring a strong link between research and usability by prospective clients.

Dr. Chaouki Kasmi has been an integral part of TII for the past four years. He is an esteemed researcher, co-authoring over 200 scientific papers and significant international leadership experience in high-energy physics, electromagnetic technologies, innovative sensing systems, laser technologies, and acoustic devices. His remarkable career achievements include recognition from the High-Power Electromagnetics (HPEM) Life Fellow by the SUMMA Foundation and two Young Scientist Awards from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI).

As such, Dr. Chaouki is ideally suited for the new role of Chief Innovation Officer, where he will spearhead initiatives to explore emerging technologies and ensure TII remains at the forefront of scientific discovery and technological innovation.”

Dr. Chaouki Kasmi, Chief Innovation Officer of TII, added: “I am honored to take on this new role and continue contributing to TII’s culture of innovation by collaborating with our teams and creating solutions to some of the world’s most critical challenges.”
